I never questioned why, I just thought it was my burden to take with me throughout life. I was an unprivileged fat person who would always have to munch celery sticks next to my skinny friends who were enjoying cake. But then I would rebel at the unfair circumstances that I’d shackled myself to and binge eat when no one was around.
